Slope Tricks
This week I learned the nose/tail turns and how to combine them with a switch turn.
Giant Slalom
Our giant slalom was not that “giant”, but fun nonetheless. The distance between the gates was around 20m with one change of rhythm (“banana gate”). The banana gate was required to follow the course on the other side of the hill (long traverse) with respect to the maximum gate distance (~20m).
Skiing Switch
Today I learned how to ski switch with parallel turns. I learned it from “the pro”.

It's a lot of fun. Just be careful not to crash into something or with someone 🤕

I'm not a racer, obviously 😅 I really enjoyed the first fresh snow from last night after a long time without any snowfall 🌨

- Forget the diagonal traversals, make slow turns, turn after turn
- Make the inner ski slide on the snow as well
